São Paulo state police arrested eight suspects in a coordinated operation dubbed 'Cryptonita', linked to a $54,000 Bitcoin robbery carried out in November 2024. The armed gang also stole $36,200 worth of goods, including a truck, mobile phones, and laptops. Investigations revealed the suspects operated shell companies to launder the stolen funds. One additional suspect remains at large.
