AMLBot reported that between 2023 and 2025, Tether froze about $3.3 billion in cryptocurrency assets compared to Circle’s $109 million, highlighting a stark contrast in enforcement. Tether blacklisted over 7,000 addresses, with more than 2,800 handled through its freezing process, while Circle’s actions were on a far smaller scale.
