Data from Arkham shows the US government’s crypto reserves consist mainly of Bitcoin, alongside significant holdings in Tether and Ethereum.
The US government holds $30.7 billion in cryptocurrency, including 328,372 BTC valued at $29.99 billion, 351 million USDT, and 62,741 ETH worth $198 million, according to Arkham data. Bitcoin accounts for roughly 97% of the total holdings, underscoring the government’s heavy concentration in the leading cryptocurrency.
