According to xAI’s official statement, the company closed its Series E funding round at $20 billion, surpassing the $15 billion target. The round saw participation from Valor Equity, StepStone, Fidelity, Qatar Investment Authority, and Baron, with NVIDIA and Cisco joining as strategic investors. Funds are allocated to enhance GPU cluster capacity, expand AI infrastructure, and accelerate training of the Grok 5 AI model.
