According to an official announcement on Jan. 15, State Street launched a digital asset platform for tokenized securities, aiming to bridge traditional and digital finance. The platform offers wallet management, custody, and cash handling, and supports both private and public permissioned blockchains. It enables tokenization of various asset classes including money market funds, exchange-traded funds, deposits, and stablecoins, representing State Street’s initial move into tokenized investment products.
