Gold prices fell 1.00% to $4,780.56 per ounce on Jan. 22, 2025, marking a further decline after the prior drop linked to U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about Greenland. Silver also dropped 2.15% to $91.07 per ounce, according to PANews. The day before, gold had fallen by $40 to $4,845.07 and Bitcoin rose 0.86% to $89,459 shortly after Trump's comments.
