In an official announcement, the SEC said its joint public meeting with the CFTC has been rescheduled to January 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. ET (3:00 a.m. Beijing time on January 30). SEC Chair Paul Atkins and CFTC Chair Michael Selig will hold a fireside chat focused on crypto regulatory coordination between the agencies. The session will stream on the SEC website with public registration.
