Ethereum Layer2 network MegaETH will launch its public mainnet on February 9, 2026, and release 53% of its MEGA token supply — equivalent to 5.3 billion tokens — based on four KPI targets: ecosystem growth, decentralization, performance, and Ethereum ecosystem metrics. Co-founder Namik Muduroglu stated that the rewards will go to MEGA stakers. The high-performance 'real-time' blockchain aims to provide ultra-low latency and high throughput for trading platforms, gaming, and consumer-facing crypto applications.
