Ethereum co-founder accelerates asset sales as part of a multi-year philanthropic plan, after moving over 16,000 ETH to a multisig wallet earlier this month.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold 1,441 ETH worth approximately $3.297 million over two days, according to OnchainLens data. The sales began a day after he moved 16,384 ETH to a multisig wallet, following his January 30 announcement of a multi-year donation program to support open-source, secure, and verifiable full-stack systems. The transactions significantly expand on earlier February sales, marking an uptick in his ETH disposals linked to philanthropic commitments.
