According to an official statement by a16z Crypto general partner Guy Wuollet, the firm will lead Kairos’ $2.5 million seed funding round. Kairos aims to provide the fastest prediction market trading services for professional traders, a model that a16z describes as a leading mechanism for pricing future events and aggregating information. Founded by former Cboe Global Markets employees, the platform integrates data from Kalshi and Polymarket into customizable dashboards, with plans for broader integration. Geneva Trading, the University of Illinois, and angel investors also joined the round. A private beta launch is expected soon.
