The mobile wallet previously known as Zashi has been renamed Zodl after its development team separated from Electric Coin Company. Now operating under the independently formed Zcash Open Development Lab, the team confirmed that the rebranding will not affect user funds, seed phrases, or wallet functionality. The move follows a governance split that led former ECC developers to establish the new organization in January, with the same team continuing maintenance and future updates.
