According to Dash, Evolution will integrate Zcash’s Orchard for transaction shielding, starting with a protected credit pool, then adding shielded tokens and enhanced security for token transfers to bolster privacy, security, and settlement finality.
On Feb. 19, Dash announced it will add transaction shielding to the Evolution chain using Zcash’s Orchard technology, aiming for high security and fast finality. The rollout will begin with a protected credit pool, followed by the development of shielded tokens and added security features for token transfers. Previously, Dash indicated a March deployment after a network security audit, initially enabling basic Zcash-style shielded transfers and later extending privacy protections to tokenized real-world assets on Evolution.
