French Hill calls for the Senate's adoption of the House-passed CLARITY Act, emphasizing its importance for advancing crypto regulation and excluding stablecoin yield disputes.
US Representative French Hill has urged the Senate to adopt the House-passed CLARITY Act, a bill aimed at defining digital asset classifications. The bill, which was supported by 78 Democrats last year, would separate digital assets into commodities and securities. Hill noted that the current stablecoin yield dispute is excluded from the legislation, and mentioned that the Treasury and OCC have been involved through the GENIUS Act proposal.
