Morgan Stanley’s planned Bitcoin ETF, with Coinbase and BNY Mellon as custodians, signals growing institutional confidence in BTC and introduces fresh liquidity to the market.
Morgan Stanley has officially entered the Bitcoin ETF market by submitting a spot BTC ETF S-1 filing, naming Coinbase and BNY Mellon as custodians. Analyst Anıl notes that initial inflows are expected to bring new liquidity rather than merely rotating existing BTC from other funds. Separately, Bitwise Asset Management donated $233,000 to support Bitcoin open-source developers, fulfilling its annual commitment to reinvest a portion of its BITB ETF profits back into the BTC ecosystem.
