India has issued an order requiring refineries to maximize liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production to support household fuel needs. Domestic supply will be prioritized, and a 25‑day interval between bookings has been introduced to discourage hoarding. Essential services including hospitals and schools will also be given priority under the new directive.
