According to the company’s official statement, Gate announced Gate Pay for AI as a native payment infrastructure for AI Agents. The system supports Base, Ethereum, and Gate Chain, supports stablecoins including USDC, and is designed to enable automated payment flows for APIs, data services, and trade execution. Gate said the product is built with x402 and blockchain programmable settlement, and includes MCP interfaces and Skills modules. The update adds a payment and settlement component to Gate’s broader AI product push, which already included the GateRouter AI model routing platform.
