HIVE Digital Technologies is scaling back its Bitcoin mining operations in Sweden amid tax disputes in Boden, citing misuse of existing tax rules and mandatory security deposits. At the same time, the company plans to expand its Canadian AI infrastructure through BUZZ High Performance Computing. According to the update, BUZZ’s capacity will increase from 4 MW in Manitoba to 16.6 MW across two Canadian provinces, reflecting a shift toward higher-performance computing operations.
