Coinbase Asset Management launched tokenized shares of its Bitcoin Yield Fund on Base with Apex Group, extending access to non-U.S. investors through ERC-3643 compliance and transfer controls.
Coinbase Asset Management has launched a tokenized share class of its Bitcoin Yield Fund on Base. The product was introduced with Apex Group, which has $3.5 trillion in assets under administration, and is currently open to non-U.S. investors. The shares use the ERC-3643 standard, which embeds compliance checks and transfer controls for regulated asset ownership on blockchain infrastructure. Apex Group remains involved in the structure, and the launch continues Coinbase’s effort to move fund interests onto blockchain rails while maintaining investor eligibility controls.
